Use VoiceOverlay to show information ingame regarding the Ventrilo server as well as who is talking.

Setup
Get the latest Ventrilo client for Windows and Mac OSX.

This is a quick setup guide if you have never used the program.

Make sure you set a push to talk key (in setup under the voice tab), voice activation is very annoying.

Also in setup make sure you turn off "Play Key Clicks" (under the voice tab).

To turn off the announcements of users joining and leaving go to the events tab in setup and change what you want to be notified of.
